02

Parking

There is ample free parking on site: 150 standard spaces and five accessible spaces.

Accessible parking is limited; request it in your RSVP so the family can confirm an allocation before the event.

03

Where to enter

All guests use the venue’s main front external entrance. There is no separate external entrance for women. In the foyer, first find your name on the table and guest list to confirm which table to sit at, then follow the signed onward route:

  • Men: follow signs for the men’s banquet.
  • Women: follow signs for the women’s banquet.

Family hosts will be available in the foyer if you need help finding your name or route. Please remain within your designated banquet space after check-in.

04

Arrival time

Please be in the foyer by 6:15 pm. The reception begins promptly at 6:30 pm.

Allow time for parking, greeting the hosts, checking the guest list and finding your table. Please do not plan to arrive at the 6:30 pm start time.

05

Facilities

  • Men’s toilets: use the signed access route via the kitchen area. Please follow staff directions around the service space.
  • Women’s toilets: use the door at the rear of the women’s space.

The venue has no stairs. Include any mobility, toilet proximity, seating or other access requirement against the relevant guest in your RSVP.

06

Photography & gifts

No guest photos or videos are permitted inside the segregated spaces. A professional male photographer will cover the men’s side and a professional female photographer will cover the women’s side.

Kindly no boxed gifts. A wishing well will be available for cards and letters to Abdullah and Salima.

07

Salah & qibla

Please pray Maghrib before reaching the venue.

We may be able to provide a small space at the back, just after the entrances, for Isha. This is not yet confirmed, so please do not rely on an on-site prayer space unless the family updates you.

For orientation, the qibla in Melbourne is approximately 279° clockwise from true north — slightly north of due west. If a prayer space is confirmed, its qibla direction will be marked.

08

Banquet seating

Food will be served as separate men’s and women’s banquets. Your assigned table will be shown beside your name on the table and guest list in the foyer.

Please sit at the listed table so catering, family groups and accessibility arrangements remain accurate.

We look forward to welcoming you
